• Where was Rubio in 2020 as COVID-19 was surging in the San Gabriel Valley? She was spending campaign dollars to meet with lobbyists in Maui.

• Where was Rubio when California legislators started taking climate change seriously? She was voting against sensible legislation designed to move the state into a cleaner future and, according to the Sierra Club, taking more than $100K from the oil and gas industry.

• Where is Rubio when it comes to holding big business accountable? She refuses to do so, skipping votes time and again on topics like fast food workers’ wages and business-related climate legislation.

• Where does Rubio stand on workers’ right to leave the workplace during an emergency? Who knows? She missed that assembly vote, too.

• Where has Rubio been when District 48’s small businesses needed help the most? She was busy writing about the plight of California’s millionaires and billionaires.

• Where has Rubio’s political support gone? She has supported, endorsed and financed Republican candidates, including those who vote to “out” transgender students.

• Where has Rubio been in the fight for teachers and other workers in District 48? Once again, she has been missing in action.
